Barcelona plot surprise Lovren bid

Barcelona are being linked with an unlikely bid to sign Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren.

Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo are reporting that the La Liga winners have identified him as a potential January target.

The Catalan giants are said to be on the lookout for a new centre-back when the transfer window opens after Christmas thanks to injuries mounting up.
