Salah sets his sights on two trophies

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has stated his belief that the team can win the Champions League this season.

The Egypt international was forced off in last season’s final against Real Madrid thanks to a foul by their captain Sergio Ramos, but he is already looking forward to going one better this time around.

“We played against teams who had won the title before and we still managed to reach the final, so of course we can do it,” he told France Football.

“I’m sure we can win it.” he added.

The former Roma attacker went on to say he believes that the team is good enough to claim a double by winning the biggest competitions both domestically and on the continent.

“We could even win both the Champions League and the Premier League.

“I don’t want to put pressure on the team, but anything is possible.” he finished.

Liverpool supporters everywhere will love his optimism and ambition.
