Keita could be fit to face City

Liverpool could have Naby Keita available to face Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.

The Guinea international had to come off during the first-half of the 1-0 Champions League defeat against Napoli on Wednesday evening and was expected to be ruled out of the clash.

But the former RB Leipzig man could well be fit in time to take on the Premier League champions in the key clash this weekend, according to manager Jurgen Klopp.

“Naby had a back spasm.” he said.

“We have to wait. Whether he can train yet, I don’t know. We’ll have to see.

“It didn’t look too serious, so there’s a chance, but we don’t know.” he finished.

Supporters will be hopeful that the midfielder is able to be called upon for the game with the two sides locked together at the top of the table after seven games.
