trouble is ed we need suarez fit until jan so we should cotton wool him for these games? let morgan play before suarez? i was keen for yesil to play a few weeks ago but after watching him against west brom he looks a bit lost. yesil on bench borini up top with assaidi and suso/sterling.

Suarez is not a player that needs wrapping up in cotton wool though, players kick lumps out of him every week in the Prem & he rarely succumbs to injury. He'll be more than fine in a game with a European ref likely to award fouls for the slightest contact

Rodgers admitted in a round the houses reply to some italian journos question at the press conference that Suarez and Gerrard would play. That probably means neither will start
