Turk reveals Reds appeal
Turan makes come-and-get-me plea to Liverpool



Galatasaray ace Arda Turan has revealed he would be interested in a move to Liverpool.

The highly-rated winger has been continually linked with a switch to Anfield with Reds boss Rafa Benitez believed to be an admirer.

Turan admits he is keen on a transfer away from Turkish football with the Merseyside giants his preferred destination.

"Of course I want to play abroad but it is our board's decision," Turan told uefa.com. "As I always mention, Liverpool attracts me because of their tradition.

"In Europe, I am a Liverpool supporter, so if I go to play in Europe, I would like to play for them.

"My dream has always been to play for one of the top European clubs, but you shouldn't make concrete plans in your life because sometimes these plans cannot be achieved.

"This is my dream, but for now I'm just working on my football."

he didnt seem to great vs atletico in the EL but thats only 1 game so i cant really judge either.
KT  might be able to tell us a bit though.

I haven't seen a great deal of him play but often when I check to see how Gala have gone the night previous (moreso to check on Harry) I always seem to read good reports on Turan. I think he'd be a good acquisition. He's a goalscoring midfielder as well, which is what we need.

Iv only seen bits and pieces of him on youtube but from what iv seen his close control and creativity if amazing.

Doesn't mak a difference unless Rafa wants him.


I've issued 10 'come get me' pleas to LFC over the years, but none have been taken up. I blame it on the lack of media pressure and exposure, or perhaps the collapse of the financial markets.

It has been suggested by others though, that it might be cause I'm s**t.
Too many blerts to bother with it.

i very much doubt that Marko, defo the lack of media coverage, just get an ad in the echo and your on ya way!!

  @BD and Marko.

Are these quotes geniune....I mean surely the club would reprimand him for such blatant and disrespectful comments. They are more official channels i which to express your interest so I'm surprised by these comments

ive just read this deal seems to be getting closer.Ive read good and bad reports about him on another board from galatasary fans,some love him some think he's not good enough for premier league..
He seems to be  very versitile and looks like he would be a good adition to the squad.

the link says that it was last updated 2 months ago meaning that the story is older than 2 months. Sounds like something from the last tranfer window
