His stats are certainly impressive enough, hopefully he can maintain something close to that form in a tougher league

i really think that jovanovic is the only quiality striker available for a realistic cost. (free)

he's actually the only striker i actually want at anfield, except for villa and lavezzi

so i will be real happy if he joins

Still, I am under the impression Milan has opted to sing for Liverpool

Is that really what we're buying him for? I'm sure his rendition of You'll Never Walk Alone will be beautiful, but we need to be buying some strikers.

this may be harsh but this reminds me of when we got vorro lol,he is a prolific goal scorer were in belgium, vorro was banging them in in germany, both are not in there youngish days and both costing next to nothing.......

hope this dosnt turn out to be the case but plz somebody give us some money to sign a real decent striker to go with the world class 1 we have

Milan Jovanovic insists he still expects to join Liverpool next season despite reports the move was in doubt.

Reports emerged last week that Liverpool's Bosman move for the Standard Liege star was in doubt because of fears over Rafa Benitez's long-term future at Anfield.

However, Jovanovic has refuted the suggestions and says he is only waiting for a work permit to make the move to Merseyside.

"For me, it's sorted," Jovanovic said. "The only thing is that my work permit is not yet in order.

"But I have until June to get it. I'm at ease. Next season I will play at Liverpool."
