Welsh midfielder Joe Allen followed Brendan Rodgers from Swansea to Liverpool in the summer of 2012.
He has a keen eye for a pass and is composed in possession - and having worked with him already at the Liberty Stadium Rodgers knew Allen suited his footballing philosophy.
Having come through the club's youth ranks, Allen got his first taste of senior action in Swansea's final game of the 2006/07 season against Blackpool.
Over the years he went on to become more and more involved with the first team setup at Swansea - first under Roberto Martinez then Rodgers - and was a key member of the senior squad by the time the Swans gained promotion to the Premier League.
The midfielder shone on the big stage, helping Swansea secure a very respectable 11th place finish. Inevitably his assured performances caught the attention of other clubs, and in the summer of 2012 Rodgers sealed a £15m deal to bring him to Anfield.
