Emiliano Insúa is one of the brightest young prosepcts at Liverpool, having signed from Boca Juniors originally on an 18 month loan deal that was made permanent in July 2008.
Whilst mainly featuring for Gary Ablett’s reserves the Argentine left-back has also been handed a handful of first-team appearances and has looked assured when given his opportunity.
Insúa started his career at Argentinian youth side Pinocho before moving to Boca Juniors, though he never played a first-team game for the Buenos Aries club.
He is a regular for Argentina Under-20s and in 2007 helped them win the FIFA Under-20’s World Cup.
