Suarez and Coates selected for Uruguay Olympic squad

Luis Suarez will miss Liverpool's tour of North America and their first game of the season against West Brom after being included in Uruguay's Olympic football squad.
Compatriot Sebastian Coates has also been included in the squad, whilst Craig Bellamy will feature at the games for Team GB.
The two countries are in the same group for the tournament and play each other on August 1st – the day before Liverpool’s first Europa League qualifier.
With both nations expected to progress from their group – the other teams making up the group are United Arab Emirates and Senegal – they will then play in the quarter finals on August 4th.
With the Final taking place just a week before the opening game of the season on August 11th, it is likely that Suarez, Coates and Bellamy will be ruled out of that match plus the second leg of the Europa League qualifier.
New Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers will hope to have the trio available for the home clash with Manchester City on August 25th.

The GB team won't reach the final so Bellers should be well back. Uruguay might have a squeak.

Suarez loves to play so I'm sure he's thrilled. It's good for Coates to get some games since he doesn't get too many with us, but I'll be pissed if this tournament makes it so we don't have Suarez at the beginning of the season considering we start with a ridiculously hard schedule.

At least the tournament is in England. Small mercy.

Tickets go so damn expensive, I don't think I'll be making the trip to Baltimore without Suarez
