Lacazette has been in fine form this season

Liverpool are still interested in signing Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette.

That’s according to RMC, who are reporting that the club have been scouting the France international for the past three seasons.

Manager Jurgen Klopp has seen his side sit at the top of the scoring charts in the Premier League so far this season, but a prolific individual forward has been missing.

Lacazette has scored a lot of goals in Ligue 1 in the past few years and is attracting plenty of attention thanks to that.

Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund are both said to be readying bids to sign him, with interest in England not restricted to Anfield.

Arsenal remain keen to bring Lacazette to England as well and it could come down to which club can offer him Champions League football.

Whether Klopp will make a bid for the free-scoring striker remains to be seen, but many Liverpool fans would be happy to see him signed.
