Liverpool are considering a move for Espanyol right-back Marc Navarro.
That is according to Mundo Deportivo, who are reporting that the Spanish defender has impressed the Reds since breaking into the side at the La Liga club.
The twenty-one year old only made his first-team debut for the Spanish club last month, but has become a regular under manager Quique Sanchez Flores since.
Navarro has already been chipping in with goals and assists and his attacking play in particular is said to be impressing visiting scouts.
Espanyol have secured a long-term contract with the young full-back already, however, which doesn’t expire until 2021.
The new terms also include a release fee of over £20m, which is likely to deter the clubs keeping a watching eye on Navarro.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp already has Nathaniel Clyne and Trent Alexander-Arnold available for the position, so it seems highly unlikely an offer will be made.
