Liverpool could be set to move for Chelsea striker Dominic Solanke.
That’s according to reports today which claim that the teenager has become a Summer target after his failure to agree terms on a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
Squawka are reporting that the young attacker has told friends that he will be making the switch from London to Liverpool.
Solanke is out of contract at the end of the season and Chelsea manager Antonio Conte today indicated that the nineteen year old could well be on his way out.
“It is best to ask him.” he said when asked about the youngster.
I think for a young player to stay in a great team like Chelsea is a great opportunity.
“You have to respect his decision.
“I have spoken with him to try to understand his will.
“It is normal. We must have a great respect for every decision.
“His contract expires in June and he has the full will to stay in Chelsea or to go away.” he finished.
Liverpool would have to pay a fee set by tribunal for the youngster, but Arsenal are also said to be monitoring his situation.
Solanke has asked for £50,000 a week from Chelsea, according to The Daily Mail, which is a figure he is unlikely to be offered at Anfield.
