Reds agree Sahin deal

Liverpool have reached a deal with Real Madrid to sign Nuri Sahin on a season-long loan deal, subject to the player passing a medical.

Sahin only moved to Madrid last summer having impressed for Borussia Dortmund the season before, but spent most of his debut campaign in Spain out injured.

The midfielder has 31 caps for Turkey and became their youngest ever goalscorer when he netted on his debut against Germany in 2005, aged 17.

The 23-year-old will now undergo a medical on Merseyside.

Not sure if we have an option to buy at the end of the season, be great if we do.

Allen, Sahin, Lucas, Gerrard; quite a midfield 4.

We don't have The option to buy. Arsenal wanted that clause but real didn't. That's why we got him.

And we agreed to pay 70% of his salary whereas Arse would only offer 50%. I hope this bit of business does not bite us in the arse, further down the line.

jesus ive just been looking at Sahins first day in pics and the absolute state of ian ayre,talk about unprofessional.Im sure he has a couple of suits lying around but he came dressed like a pikie WTF
