Paris Saint Germain are preparing a bid for Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho.
That’s according to French newspaper Le 10 Sport, who claim that the Le Championnet champions will look to take the Brazilian to Paris in the January transfer window.
They had a £22m offer flatly rejected in the Summer by the Reds, but that hasn’t dissuaded them from continuing their interest in the playmaker.
Real Madrid have also placed Coutinho on their wanted list, so if PSG are to prise him away from Anfield they will face stern competition.
But Liverpool supporters should not fear losing the former Inter Milan too much as he has recently said that he is very happy at Anfield and considers it his home.
“I am grateful for everything Liverpool has done for me.” he said.
“Am I happy there working under Klopp? It’s clear, he’s great.” he added.
Barcelona are also said to be monitoring his progress and reportedly see him as a potential replacement for Andres Iniesta.
