Nathan Eccleston leaves the club

Blackpool have completed the deadline-day signing of Nathan Eccleston.

The youngster has joined the Seasiders on a permanent basis, signing a one-year contract with an option for another year.

He had been at Liverpool since the age of 15 but after impressing at youth level the striker struggled to make the step up to senior level.

Eccleston only made two senior appearances in his Anfield career.

Good luck to him. Was never good enough and would never have made it. Might have found his level.
