Liverpool have joined the race to sign Burnley defender Michael Keane.
That’s according to The Daily Mail, who are claiming that manager Jurgen Klopp has liked what he’s seen from the centre-back this season.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Everton have all been linked with Summer bids for the twenty-four year old.
Keane has been called up to the England squad by boss Gareth Southgate for this week’s double header with Germany and Lithuania and could make his debut for his country.
Bids of around £20m are expected to be made after another impressive season from the former Manchester United defender.
Liverpool are likely to move for a centre-back to provide competition for Dejan Lovren, with Joel Matip looking secure in one of the two slots in Klopp’s team.
Keane would fit the profile of players FSG like to bring in, being young and ready for development.
