Liverpool and AC Milan are battling it out to sign Lyon defender Jordy Gaspar.
Telefoot are reporting that advanced negotiations are under way with both clubs as the youngster looks to choose his next move.
The nineteen year old hasn’t signed professional terms with the French club as yet, despite making three first-team appearances this season.
Lyon are keen to agree a deal with Gaspar and have put an offer on the table, but it appears that it could be too late according to TF1.
“The player and his entourage are in advanced discussions with AC Milan and Liverpool, who have sent several proposals.” Telefoot have reported.
Gaspar would be available to make a move as early as May due to the lack of constraints around his situation thanks to his lack of a contract with the Ligue 1 club.
He could yet be persuaded to remain where he is and try to hold down a place in the first-team.
