Liverpool will battle Everton for Paris Saint Germain defender Fodé Ballo-Touré.
That’s according to a report by Madein Foot, who are claiming that the left-back will be the subject of a tug of war between the two Merseyside rivals.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has used midfielder James Milner as a makeshift full-back this season after running out of patience with Alberto Moreno.
That has seen plenty of talk surface that a new left-back will be signed at the end of the season, with several names linked over the course of the campaign so far.
And the latest is that of twenty year old Ballo-Touré, who has struggled to make much of an impact at the French champions so far.
His path to a plce in Unai Emery’s first XI is currently blocked by Brazilian Maxwell and France international Layvin Kurzawa, so he is not a particularly experienced option.
Everton manager Ronald Koeman is also said to be keen on taking bringing him to England to provide competition for England international Leighton Baines.
Ballo-Touré is unlikely to command a high transfer fee if he is allowed to move on.
