Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is set to bring in several new faces in the Summer.
The German has seen the lack of depth in the squad exposed since Christmas and is likely to make plenty of moves in the transfer market at the end of the season.
That’s according to Echo writer James Pearce, who is currently following the squad’s break in La Manga, with claims that Klopp could bring in five or six players.
“I’m expecting a very busy summer.” he said.
“I wouldn’t be suprised if Klopp signed five maybe even six players.” he added.
If Klopp manages to steer the club into the Champions League for next season, he will certainly need to add quality and depth to a squad that has arguably performed beyond expectations so far this season.
There is precedent for Klopp to make plenty of signings after he signed over ten in each of his first two Summers at Borussia Dortmund.
