Liverpool are set to move for five players in the Summer.
That’s according to an “exclusive” report by The Independent, where Miguel Delaney has claimed that Jurgen Klopp has identified the quintet of players he wants to bring to Anfield.
The name at the top of the list will come as no surprise to anyone, with Southampton centre-back Virgil Van Dijk named as a key defensive target for the transfer window.
Liverpool are likely to struggle to get that deal over the line, however, with Delaney writing that Premier League champions Chelsea are leading the race to sign the Dutchman.
Two RB Leipzig players are next on the list with midfielder Naby Keita joined by impressive young striker Timo Werner as Klopp looks to raid his homeland with a double Bundesliga swoop.
The final two names on the list are likely to encourage those who are hopeful of seeing a genuine left-back added this Summer, with Hull City’s Andy Robertson and Fulham’s teenage star Ryan Sessegnon identified as the solution to the position.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City are likely to provide stiff competition to land Sessegnon from the Championship club, however.
