Atletico Madrid attacker Angel Correa is putting a potential move to Liverpool in jeopardy.
The forward is said to demanding more than he has been offered to leave the La Liga side in order to make a surprise move to Anfield.
This is according to Foot Mercato, who are reporting that the Reds have offered £50,000 a week to make the switch to the Premier League this Summer.
But they go on to reveal that Correa is not happy with that offer and has demanded £75,000 a week if he is going to swap Spain for England.
Atletico are not keen to let the twenty-two year old leave this Summer, especially when they are still under a transfer ban, but would allow him to move on if an offer of £25m is lodged.
The Argentine striker has been with the La Liga club since 2014 after putting pen to paper on a five year contract when he was signed from San Lorenzo in a deal worth around £5.5m
It sounds like Liverpool will have to up the stakes if there genuinely is interest in Correa.
