Paolo Maldini, Cafu, Beckenbauer, Messi, John Barnes, Pele, Pique, Xabi Alonso, and Ronaldo (the good one, not the crying Portuguese one who's always on his period)
And hell, throw in Kenny just for good measure.

£4m?
He's not that good, but his pace would be welcome in our team. And he's clearly superior to the useless Downing.

£4 mil seems a bit cheap. I think the signing of Walcott would fall into the category of buying someone elses problems. He lacks consistancy and seems to do well every third or fourth game and then for only short periods within the game. The few gooners I know always say he is frustrating.
But as you rightly say Oli, He would be a massive improvement on Downing.

I may sound like a broken record but I'd take Jarvis. He's cheap and I think with better players alongside him he could become a great winger for us, his deliveries while running down the line are incredible and probably 2nd to only Valencia in terms of delivery. Also has great pace, can beat a guy, skills.
I'd also like to see a creative AM in as well. Someone like Shikari or Hazard but don't see any of those happening unfortunately. Oh and in my dream world I'd like Alonso back.

I don't know, Oli. It's very improbable, but if he sees us continuing to improve he may want to join forces with Suarez. And we may need him if Carroll doesn't step it up, but that may be improbable seeing as how Carroll is showing big promise.

Wishful thinking mate.
If he decides to move on, clubs with a bigger pull than us will go in for him.

I'm gonna keep wishing for Siem De Jong until we get him. He can play winger and he can pass to Suarez. He played excellently against Vitesse in the 4-1 win setting up two goals and scoring another. Watch him be legendary at Old Trafford this week.

He can play winger and he can pass to Suarez.
Can he pass to other players too, or is this a stipulation in his contract?

One of the managers at work is a Gooner and his dad is a season ticket holder and rumblings are that he will be allowed to go for that amount. Yeah he has been inconsistent but im not sure he is an out and out winger maybe a move into the middle of the forward line up maybe the way to go with Wallcott
