So, Spurs have a point from two games so far - but they are 1-0 up against Norwich with a goal from new boy Dembele.

Arsenal have two points - but have not scored yet. They also haven't conceded. Sunderland and Stoke are not the most dangerous opposition though.

Newcastle have won one and lost one having played two tough fixtures against Spurs and Chelsea.

Everton have made a good start for once. But they are losing at West Brom as I type.

And us? We all know where we are at.

Beating Arsenal tomorrow is a must.

A - We need a win

B - We need to keep Arsenal down

C - We need some goals to shut up all the doubters.

Should be an open and interesting race.

Everton are now 2-0 down.

And Norwich have levelled against Spurs - who should not have sacked Redknapp. Well, that or not given the idiot AVB a job!

All A, B and C are true.

We obviously would like a win after our 1 point from three games.
Need to be above arsenal given they'll likely be challenging for fourth
And finally need some goals, particularly from open play.

I would gladly take a scrappy 1-0 win.

Well we didnt score and BR is the first manager to not win a game in the first 3 , even Hodgeson managed to have 4 points from first 3 games .

Top 4 is so far away at the moment top 10 is even looking shakey , especially if we get any injuries to Suarez .

Even though Spurs and Arsenal have been relatively poor so far, we have been worse and look light years off top four quality.

The season is young, but we have so much work to do.

Well, Spurs and Arsenal have both kicked on well. Chelsea look very consistent and a better side than last season.

Newcastle don't look like going close to the top four this season.

Everton and West Brom have started well, Fulham too, but I don't see any of them lasting the distance.

United, City, Chelsea and one of the North London pair will make up the top four I reckon.

I agree with United, City, and Chelsea, Oli, and Spurs and Arsenal both look good for the 4th spot, but  I'm not counting out Everton.  I hate saying this, but they look really good this year, and may have what it takes to stay up there for 4th.  West Brom...definitely not.  Fulham... eh?  But I think it could be a 3 team race for that 4th spot.

I don't think West Brom, Fulham or West Ham will last the pace. Everton will be top seven though I expect. It would not surprise me to see them finish above us again.

If we have serious ideas of getting into the top four then the game at Goodison next up is even bigger than usual.

Top four is not too far away and the everton game will be crucial

Seven points from possible 9 from the last three games is not bad and if we can have the same in the next three fixtures i'll be happy.

He has let loose the two seas (the salt and fresh water) meeting together. Between them is a barrier which none of them can transgress. Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you deny?

Everton are losing at QPR. Deflected goal, but they all count.

I don't like Hughes or QPR, but I am hoping they win this one!
