We aren't going to sign Cavani and Kuyt won't be going to Napoli.

i think it depends where we finish in the league whether his time is up finish outside the top 4, we aren't going to find many of the top players wanting to come to us to replace him, as now i think we need the top bracket of player to improve the first team rather than good squad players.

I agree hes a good player not top class but unless we sign top class we need to keep him. Thing is with kuyt effort is gauranteed thats not always the case with a lot of players.

Kuyt is a useful squad player, but he is no longer someone we can rely upon for regular goals. He'll always put a shift in, but that isn't always going to be enough.

He's been better of late, barring the Spurs game, but we can't keep playing him when he's only played well on a handful occasions this season.

Hopefully he'll have a better end to the season and make Kenny's mind up for him.

Has he ever been someone we have relied on for regular goals though? I think he has been a great player for us but if im honest, he doesn't exactly light up a game, which is what I owuld love to see at Liverpool in the future! Had a great time and fit in with the Benitez way well but i think his time is up!

Totally love Dirk Kuyt! So glad he scored today, he always seems to get important goals so in my view he is worth keeping. He always works so hard also and never stops. He may not be a first teamer anymore but he is still a great player in my view!

I was keen for him to come on for Carroll and was delighted when he did. He was a matchwinner in so many ways - the goal, the header off the line and the penalty in the shootout were all big contributions.
