I think he has done enough of late to ensure that, yes

If he would be happy to stay as an occasional starter and super sub, which is likely to be his role in future, he would be a fantastic assett to the squad.
i do think he still has international ambitions and may want to be playing regularly somewhere else. I hope not.

I think the same Nicho. If his priority is to stay with us, then he'll only be a peripheral figure, but if he wants to continue playing for Holland then he'll need to keep playing club football more regularly than I anticipate us being able to offer him.

Agree with both the above. I think whether he sticks with us as a sub depends on if he plans to still be playing international football at 33 going on 34. He's pretty much secured his place in the Dutch squad for the Euro's this summer, but if he wants to still be in the plans for his national side in 2014 he'll need to get some regular football between now & then.

I don't think he'll be able to keep his place in the Dutch side with the likes of Affelay and co improving year on year - with Kuyt getting worse with age.

Again I agree. If Kuyt recognises this himself I could see him staying on as a bit-part player here, otherwise he'll be off, probably next summer but possibly this one.

He just isn't good enough to be a regular for us anymore. He hasn't been as good this season and is showing clear signs of a decline.

As a squad player, he is fine, but if he wants regular starts there'll be plenty of takers. Someone like Ajax would be ideal for him.

There's life in the old dog yet! Kuyt still has a vital role to play at the club, even if that role's not as prominent as it once was. We should be keeping him.
