Thought I'd ask your opinion on this.

What's your view on Away supporters joining and sitting in the home sides stand. The reason I ask is that my mate is a West Ham Fan and we've got an agreement to try and get tickets for both the games this season at both grounds and when we're at Anfield he sits in LFC stand and at Upton Park me sitting in the West Ham end.

Does this thing usually happen? I know it can in the Mersyside derby but that's like a family kind of thing where family's are split.

I've always had a soft spot for WHU so would love to visit the stadium ect so would really like to go...would rather come back in one piece though

Be very careful what you say and do at Upton Park.

They will not want you in their stands.

We sat in the home section their once and it wasn't the easiest or most pleasant experience I have ever had.

I do not like West Ham United.

I watched Liverpool at Ewood park in the home end and it was fine. Didn't have much to cheer in the game though it was a drab 0-0

I have sat in with City, Charlton and QPR fans and been fine every time.

But I did not feel comfortable with the West Ham fans.

I've only ever sat with the home fans at Stamford Bridge, didn't have any problems but then I didn't wear my colours & kept my mouth shut

Chelsea don't have the most 'passionate' fans, shall we say.

West Ham have more dodgy bastards that you want to steer clear of.

Most of those dodgy bastards are probably members of my family

I always found Newcastle to be a bit hairy. (Or was that just the women?)

West Ham away was the worst for me - top flight anyway.

Millwall away when they threw chairs at us was worse. But I would get angry if Salif Diao scored against us!

I've never sat with other fans at a ground before. Can't say I wouldn't be opposed to the idea though, as long as it wasn't Chelsea. Their idea of banter is just s**t. They have so many repulsive, despicable people supporting them, as well as playing for them. Remind me never to go to a pub again when Chelsea play a Champions League semi-final. Unbearable.

That depends for me, I generally find the Chelsea fans that supported them when they were s**t aren't too bad, a lot of them are embarrassed at the new generation of 'supporters' they've picked up as a result of their wealth.

I don't like London fans in general. Arsenal fans boo everyone and anyone, whatever the scoreline and situation.

Chelsea fans get angsty whenever they aren't winning and West Ham have some utter scum at games.

But nobody comes close to Millwall. Sitting in the away end is bad enough!

I reckon most London fans feel the same about scousers. It's the tribalism that exists within the game. It may not manifest itself in violence as it once did, but it is still there , very very deep rooted

London fans can think what they want.

They will never be revered for their passion or dedication.

Look at how quickly the Emirates emptied when we were 2-0 up last season.

I meant by the media and general consensus.

Our fans along with the Geordies have long been pointed to for passion. Stoke too in recent years.
