Former Liverpool striker David N’Gog has been given a trial by German club Darmstadt.
The Frenchman, now twenty-seven, spent three years at Anfield after being signed from Paris Saint Germain back in 2008 by Rafa Benitez.
He left in the Summer of 2011 after failing to convince that he was capable of claiming a regular place in the Liverpool side and he joined Bolton Wanderers.
The Trotters were relegated to the Championship and N’Gog remained with them until January 2014 when he got a surprise move back to the top flight with Swansea City.
But he only made three appearances for the Welsh side and failed to find the net in any of them before returning to his native France with Reims.
He managed to score at almost one in every four games for the Ligue 1 outfit and has earned himself a trial with Darmstadt in the process.
