Rafa Benitez has dismissed rumours of a bust up between himself and Steven Gerrard following the defeat at the hands of Reading last week.
The pair were reported to have fallen out at halftime during the FA Cup 3rd round clash, but the Liverpool manager was keen to stress that there was no truth in the stories.
"Talk of problems in the dressing room are not true" said Benitez.
"You could see the response from the players point. Is someone saying there is a problem with Steven Gerrard? Not true. He was here supporting the team, that says everything,"
The rumours gained momentum when Gerrard was reported to have not travelled with the rest of the squad to the Brittania Stadium on Saturday, but contrary to speculation the captain was seen sitting in the stands for the draw with Stoke.
