Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp “would love” to sign Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund.

That is the news being reported by Echo journalist James Pearce, who revealed the information in a Q&A with supporters on the newspaper’s website.

“Pulisic is an interesting one because Klopp would love him.” he said.

“He was the one who promoted him to the first team at Dortmund. He was brilliant against Liverpool in pre-season. When you watch him, you can see he’s a Klopp player and why he wants him and admires him so much.

“His contract is only until 2020 so that will have a say on how much Dortmund can demand for him. Klopp has had a bid for him rejected before.

“There is a greater chance of Liverpool signing Pulisic than Fekir.” he finished.

Liverpool supporters will be hoping to see a new attacking midfielder added to the squad in one of the coming transfer windows – and it sounds like the United States international is the number one target for the role.
