Liverpool defender Alberto Moreno wants to rejoin Sevilla.

That is the claim being made in an article by Spanish newspaper Marca, who are reporting that the left-back is keen to head back to his old club in January.

Moreno has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the side since he completed a £12m switch back in the Summer of 2014 and his prospects look even more slim thanks to the fine form of Andrew Robertson.

The twenty-six year old is out of contract at the end of the campaign and the upcoming transfer window will represent the last chance manager Jurgen Klopp will have to cash in on him.

And the German could do exactly that, according to the article, with a cash bid from another club likely to at least be considered given that Moreno has only played a couple of games so far this season.

Many supporters would not be sad to see the back of him as a player, but there are some who are fond of Moreno thanks to his cheerful attitude and constant smile.

Such things are unlikely to be considerations should a serious offer be made in the new year, however.
