Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana is back in full training.
The England international picked up a groin injury during a training session with his country while away on international duty last month and has been recuperating since.
He decided to sit out the trip to Italy to take on Napoli in the Champions League in order to focus on completing extra training sessions to expedite his return to action, according to The Times.
The former Southampton man is now set to be available for selection when the Liverpool squad reconvene following the current international break next week.
Manager Jurgen Klopp will be glad to have one of his most trusted players back in action after spending much of last season unable to call on the thirty year old due to injury absences.
Lallana has already featured this season when he came off the substitute’s bench in the second Premier League fixture of the season when the Reds claimed the points against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park back in August.
Klopp will also be happy to have Lallana back to fitness due to the shortage of attacking midfield options in his squad, with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain also unavailable and Naby Keita still adjusting to life in English football.
