Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says talk of winning the Premier League title is premature.

Many onlookers have been tipping his side to challenge champions Manchester City for their crown as the two sides prepare to go head to head at Anfield on Sunday.

But the German has dismissed that kind of chat and wants his team to focus on the game instead.

“I don’t think it makes sense at this moment to think about the title.” he said.

“There are a lot of games to play.

“It is a home game against Manchester City and that is a tough one. Last year they were really special and I expect them to be like this again.

“Teams that play like them can lose focus, but it never happened to City last year so they have all my respect.

“We have to be on our best to keep them away from our and create some chances in front of their goal.” he finished.

Manchester City visit Anfield on Sunday afternoon with the two sides only split by goal difference at the top of the table.
