Salah most expensive fantasy player

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah will be the highest priced player in Fantasy Premier League this season.

The Egypt international has been valued at £13m in the game and will be picked by a lot of people as they choose who will be in their squads for the 2018/19 season.

Salah was the top scoring player in the competition last season thanks to a mammoth 303 points being amassed and that will see plenty of managers choose him from the start this time around.

Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane are the next most expensive players in Jurgen Klopp’s squad, with each of them set to cost players £9.5m to have them in their side.

Both Salah and Mane would be very sensible buys, despite their high price tags, as they have been given the status as midfielders in the game again – which would free up positions upfront for other prolific goalscorers.

New midfield signing Naby Keita is next up at £7.5m with fellow addition Fabinho costing just £6m – which could prove to be one of the bargains of the season if you decide to select him in your side.

Adam Lallana will set you back £7m if you choose to have some faith in the thirty year old England international’s ability to bounce back from injury and reclaim a place in Klopp’s side.

Another former Southampton man in the shape of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who will miss the start of the campaign, will set you back £6.5m and may be one to keep an eye on once he has regained fitness.

Captain Jordan Henderson is priced at just £5.5m, which could be a steal given his regular presence in the starting lineup – especially after Emre Can left to join Juventus this Summer.

There is no place for injury-prone forward Daniel Sturridge after his disastrous loan spell with relegated West Bromwich Albion, which failed to yield a single goal for the twenty-eight year old.

Dutch international Virgil Van Dijk and Scottish left-back Andrew Robertson are the top priced defenders, each valued at £6m with Dejan Lovren, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez and Nathaniel Clyne all costing £5m each.

Both Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet are valued at £5m, with Danny Ward not present, as they continue their battle to be number one goalkeeper at Anfield.

All twenty-three players can be seen below with their price tags and how many points they scored last season…
