Liverpool are set to make a move to bring Barcelona defender Yerry Mina to Anfield.
The Colombia international, who scored his side’s goal in their 1-1 draw with England on Tuesday night before being beaten on penalties, is reportedly set to be made available by the Catalan club.
Fotomac are claiming that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is interested in a year long loan deal to bring the centre-back to Merseyside for the new season.
The twenty-three year old only moved to the Camp Nou in January from Brazilian club Palmeiras, before making just six appearances for the La Liga giants in the second half of the campaign.
There has been speculation that he could be loaned out for a season in order to gather more experience of playing European football.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reported to be interested in the idea of adding Mina to his squad for the upcoming season, but a deal that would see him developing a player for a continental rival may not make the most sense for the German.
He does want to add more depth to his squad, however, and Mina would certainly add another option at centre-back alongside Virgil Van Dijk, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip, Ragnar Klavan and Joe Gomez.
Klopp is likely to face competition from Turkish side Fenerbahce, who are also plotting a move for Mina.
