Liverpool have completed the signing of Bobby Duncan from Manchester City.
The teenager, who is the cousin of former Anfield skipper Steven Gerrard, has decided to leave the Premier League champions to make the move to Anfield.
That is according to a report by Read Liverpool, who say that the seventeen year old has opted to leave The Etihad after six years as a youth player with City.
“It’s been an amazing 6 years at Manchester City.” he said in a statement on Instagram.
“It was a difficult decision for me and my family but the time is right for a new challenge and to fulfil my dreams and potential elsewhere.” he added.
Duncan did not make any appearances for the first-team at City, which has been attributed to a “contract dispute” in the report, and was limited to playing for their under-17 side.
He is expected to become a part of the squad at Kirby when he joins the club on 1st July.
