Liverpool midfielder Emre Can will leave Anfield at the end of the month.
It has been confirmed by the club that the Germany international will make an exit from Anfield once his contract expires and it is widely believed that he will put pen to paper on a move to Juventus.
“Liverpool FC can confirm that Emre Can and Jon Flanagan will both leave the club upon the expiry of their contracts this summer.” a statement reads.
The Italian club have been pursuing a deal to take the former Bayer Leverkusen man to Serie A for over a year and it now looks like they have finally got their man.
Can made his final appearance for the club as a late substitute in the Champions League final defeat against Real Madrid after suffering a back injury back in March.
Joining Can on the exit list is the name of defender Jon Flanagan, who will not be offered a new deal by the club after being charged with assaulting his girlfriend and a loan spell with Bolton Wanderers.
The other names on the list of those being released are: Toni Gomes, Paulo Alves, Mich’el Parker, Jordan Williams, Anthony Glennon, Jordan Hunter and Harvey Whyte.
Yan Dhanda has already signed for Swansea City and will join the Championship side for preseason training.
