Liverpool midfielder Ovie Ejaria has followed Steven Gerrard to Rangers.
The former Anfield skipper has taken over as manager at Ibrox and has now completed a deal to take the twenty year old north of the border on a season long loan.
Ejaria, who spent the second half of last season on loan at relegated Championship club Sunderland, has also signed a new long-term deal with Liverpool before making the switch.
It is hoped that the England under-21 spending time in a winning side will develop his talent further after a disappointing spell with the Mackems as they dipped down into League One for next season.
“It’s a really great feeling. I’ve been at Liverpool for four years now and I’m just really happy to extend my stay here,” Ejaria told Liverpoolfc.com.
“It’s a massive club, the club’s doing really well at the moment, so it wasn’t a hard decision at all.
“I’m just going to keep working hard and see where that takes me.
“I really want to be a regular at Liverpool Football Club, a massive club, so that’s my aim.” he finished.
