Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is set to make a third bid to sign Christian Pulisic.
The Borussia Dortmund midfielder has been the subject of two failed bids by the German as he is set to again seek a reunion with the teenager this Summer.
According to a report by The Mirror, Klopp is hoping to make it third time lucky by launching another offer to finally bring the American international to Anfield when the season ends.
But Michael Zorc has insisted that the Bundesliga club have heard nothing from Klopp despite having “constant contact” with their former manager.
“I’m in constant contact with Jurgen Klopp.” he told Bild
“But I know nothing about that.” he added.
Arsenal’s new head of recruitment, Sven Mislintat, is also keen to have a reunion of his own with the nineteen year old this Summer – but Pulisic is said to prefer Liverpool if he is to make a move.
And to further complicate matters, that is not where the interest in the youngster ends – Manchester United and Bayern Munich are both said to be keen on signing him.
American sports giant Nike have a big sponsorship deal in place with Pulisic and the three Premier League clubs are all at least part backed by transatlantic owners – which is a factor in boardroom interest.
Klopp will hope that his prior relationship with Pulisic, coupled with his style of football and Champions League run this season, will lure him to Anfield.
