Gerrard set to take two Reds to Ibrox

New Rangers manager Steven Gerrard is set to take two Liverpool coaches with him to Ibrox.

Tom Culshaw and Jordan Milsom are likely to follow the former Anfield skipper north of the border to join his coaching staff at the Scottish club next season.

The duo have been working with the thirty-seven year old as part of his under-18 coaching setup at Liverpool, but look set to follow the club legend out of the exit door this Summer.

They will join another former Liverpool man at Ibrox as Gerrard has already signed up former Reds midfielder Gary McAllister to step into the role of assistant manager.

Culshaw and Milsom are not experienced at such a high first-team level, so it makes sense to the young coaching team to have the experience of McAllister around them.

Gerrard has signed a four year contract to take over at the Glasgow club and will come face to face with former Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers, who is in charge of rivals Celtic.

It will certainly make Scottish football more interesting to Liverpool fans next season.
