Liverpool are set to rekindle interest in Poland international Piotr Zielinski.
That’s according to a report by Tutto Mercato Web, in which they claim that the Napoli midfielder will be a target once again this Summer.
The twenty-three year old was on Jurgen Klopp’s wanted list back in the Summer of 2016 when he was a member of the Empoli squad during a loan spell.
Napoli beat Liverpool to his signature that Summer when Udinese accepted an offer from their domestic rivals.
But Klopp appears to have continued to scout Zielinski and could be set to make another attempt to bring him to Anfield this year.
His contract expires with Napoli at the end of the 2020/21 season, which means he has just over three years remaining on the deal.
Liverpool have also been heavily linked with his team-mate Jorginho, though the Serie A club are unlikely to let both move on at the same time.
