Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish has expressed his pleasure seeing how well Mohamed Salah has done for the club.
The Egypt international is closing in on scoring forty goals in his debut season at Anfield after notching his thirty-ninth strike of the campaign in Tuesday’s 2-1 win over Manchester City in the Champions League.
And that sensational form has earned the praise of the man many consider to be the greatest player to ever wear the club shirt.
“He has been fantastic.” he told LFC Later on LFCtv.
“He must have outlived his own expectations I would have thought, and certainly you would have thought Jürgen could not have anticipated thirty-nine goals so far.
“He’s still really humble and despite the fact he’s scored that many goals, he’s still going out and trying to do his bit – and he does his bit on the other side of it when he doesn’t have the ball. It’s fantastic.
“It’s been a brilliant bit of business and it’s great to see him saying how happy he is to be here.” he finished.
Salah has been in such fantastic form that he has scored in every home game he has started since Boxing Day.
