Former Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho wants the Spanish club to make a move for Mohamed Salah this Summer.
That’s according to the latest report from Don Balon, who are claiming that the Brazil international demanded to have a say on future transfer targets when he signed for the Catalan giants.
Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann is said to be the number one target for the Camp Nou club, but Coutinho is said to prefer Salah as a potential team-mate.
Salah has taken Anfield by storm since signing from Italian club AS Roma last Summer and that has seen interest come from Real Madrid ahead of the Summer transfer market opening.
Barcelona have been tentatively linked with an interest in the Egypt international, but are not expected to make a serious bid to try and take him to La Liga.
It also seems far-fetched that Coutinho is trying to call the shots on who will be playing alongside him next season following his slow start to life at the club.
That is despite the former Inter Milan man striking up a healthy understanding with Salah in the first half of the campaign when playing together at Anfield.
