Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reacted to the quarter final draw for the Champions League.
The German boss saw his side drawn against domestic rivals Manchester City for the last eight stage of the competition.
And has been quite pragmatic about what is a tough prospect, giving a philosophical response to questions asked at his press conference ahead of Saturday’s game with Watford.
“I really don’t mind. I knew it would be difficult and that is difficult.” he said.
“The good news is for Manchester City it will be difficult as well.”
“We are for sure not the favourites in this round.
“But in the last eight there are not a lot of favourites, maybe two of them, Bayern and Barcelona.” he finished.
Most Liverpool supporters were looking for the team to be drawn to face either Sevilla or Roma – with few looking to see an all-Premier League tie.
