Former Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina will sign for AC Milan at the end of the season.
That’s according to claim by Calciomercato, who are reporting that the thirty-five year old will leave Napoli to move to the San Siro giants when his contract expires.
Reina, who left Anfield in the Summer of 2013, has been with the Serie A title contenders for almost three seasons since joining from Bayern Munich back in 2015.
He also spent the 2013/14 campaign on loan at the San Paolo when former Reds boss Rafa Benitez was in charge of the Italian club.
It had been reported that he was a target for French league leaders Paris Saint Germain, but he will instead remain in Italian football in order to join AC Milan in June.
Reina moved to Anfield from Barcelona back in 2005 and spent the next eight years as first-choice goalkeeper before Brendan Rodgers decided to replace him with Simon Mignolet, who was signed from Sunderland in the Summer of 2013.
He has remained a firm favourite with many supporters since leaving the club.
