Juventus aiming to tie up Can deal

Juventus are set to use their visit to England as an opportunity to seal a move for Liverpool’s Emre Can.

The Germany international is yet to put pen to paper on a contract for next season once his deal at Anfield expires and the Serie A giants are hoping to finally get their man.

The Italian champions are heading to London to face Tottenham Hotspur in the second leg of their Champions League last sixteen tie and are going to make another attempt to convince Can to commit his future to them.

This is according to a report by Tuttosport, who are claiming that the twenty-four year old has “a gentlemen’s agreement” with Juventus, but is yet to physically sign a contract with them.

Can is free to sign a deal with clubs outside of England and has been since he entered the final six months of the contract he signed when he moved to Anfield back in 2014.

He has got a decision to make, however, as it is not just Juventus who are looking to secure his signature for next season. Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Manchester United have all been linked with bids for his services.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is also eager to keep him at the club beyond the current campaign.
