Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are set to rival Juventus in the race to sign Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.
That’s the claim being made by Turkish Football, who are reporting that the Germany international could be offered contracts by the European heavyweights.
Can is out of contract at Anfield at the end of the season and has long been linked with a switch to Turin to join the Italian champions this Summer.
Reports have emerged this week which claim that the Serie A giants are becoming frustrated by their pursuit of the twenty-four year old as they are yet to get him to commit to a move by signing a pre-contract agreement with them.
Can is claimed to have been considering his options ahead of the expiration of his contract and may not be as committed to the idea of moving to Italy as has been reported.
The prospect of a return to join Bayern, where he spent time as a teenager before signing for Bayer Leverkusen, could be too good to turn down for Can.
Equally, the idea of joining Champions League holders Real Madrid and becoming part of a revolution of their squad may also be a massive lure for the midfielder.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp remains keen to keep Can at Anfield, but has reportedly given up trying to persuade him to sign a contract extension and is leaving it to him to make his mind up.
It doesn’t look like he will be short of options.
