Real Madrid are prepared to offer Gareth Bales as part of a deal to sign Mohamed Salah from Liverpool.
That’s the claim being made by Spanish newspaper Don Balon, who are reporting that the La Liga champions are stepping up their efforts to sign the Egypt international.
Salah has been in sensational form for the Reds since arriving from Italian club AS Roma last Summer and that has seen him regularly linked with the Champions League holders.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is not looking to let his star man move on and is likely to resist any offers from the Spaniards – even if they are offering Bale as part of the package.
The Welsh international has struggled with injury and that has seen his stock diminish slightly at the Bernabeu and is likely to be allowed to move on if the right offer is made.
Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is reportedly prepared to sanction an offer to Liverpool that would see the former Spurs winger put in to a deal as a makeweight.
Klopp is highly unlikely to change his stance should Real Madrid make this offer to him, as Salah has already broken the thirty goal barrier this season and has become a key player in his side.
