Salah wants trophies at Anfield

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has said that it is his “dream to win the Premier League” with the club.

Speculation has been mounting that Spanish giants Real Madrid are preparing a Summer move for the Egypt international as they look to improve their squad this Summer.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp would not want to lose his star man – who has bagged twenty-two league goals already this season since his arrival from Italian club AS Roma at the beginning of the campaign.

And the former Chelsea man has spoken in an interview with BBC Sport about his future plans and hopes of winning “something for the club” – which will allay fears that he could decide to push for a move after just one season at Anfield.

“I came to here to win titles.” he told Football Focus.

“I can tell the fans we work 100% to try and win something for the club,” he said.

“It’s a long time since the club won the league. It’s my dream to win the Premier League – but I want to win it with this club.

“It’s easy to play with this kind of quality,” he said.

“If you look at me now and five years ago, everything has changed both mentally and physically.

“I’m trying to improve myself every day. I always like to put myself under pressure to improve more.

“I give all my life to football, I only think about football. This is what is on my mind all the time.” he finished.

Salah has played a big part in the side reaching the knockout phase of the Champions League and he scored a goal in the 5-0 victory over FC Porto in the first leg of the last sixteen tie.
