Former Napoli sporting director Pierpaolo Marino has claimed that Liverpool midfielder Emre Can will move to Juventus at the end of the season.
The Germany international is out of contract at Anfield this Summer and Marino has claimed that a switch to join the Serie A champions is a “done deal”.
“Juve will only sign Alessandro Florenzi if he plays in the midfield.” he told Calcio Mercato.
“He is not a full-back, but is a converted one.
“But there are others in the role who are better than him.
“Can, for me, is a done deal and will come in.” he finished.
Most Liverpool supporters are expecting the former Bayer Leverkusen man to leave the club when the season finishes after contract talks appeared to break down.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has been, and remains, keen to keep his compatriot at the club – but talks have not reached a conclusion which satisfies both parties and it now looks highly likely that the midfielder will move on.
