Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that Real Madrid sign Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah.
That’s the claim being made by Spanish newspaper Don Balon, who are claiming that the Argentine has agreed to succeed Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu on that proviso, among others.
Zidane’s position is coming under increasing pressure following his side’s poor form in La Liga so far this season which has seen them fall a long way behind rivals Barcelona.
President Florentino Perez is said to be losing patience with the French legend and is reported to have set him the target of retaining the Champions League in order to keep his job.
Zidane faces the difficult prospect of overcoming French big-spenders Paris Saint Germain, a former club of Pochettino, in the last sixteen of the competition.
Salah has been linked with a move to Real Madrid plenty already this season and the reports are only growing in number as he continues to score goals for Liverpool.
It seems likely that Los Blancos will make a Summer move to land the Egypt international regardless of who their manager is, so it appears that this demand by Pochettino is media speculation.
